War Memorial, Railway Road

In 1919, Adlington Parish Church Council passed a resolution to erect a war memorial for those who lost their lives in the Great War. It was built from monies raised by the local community and was unveiled in March 1920.

The names and further information about the soldiers listed on the memorial are listed here. After the Second World War, further names of those who lost their lives were added.
